Welcome to the first coffee morning for Autumn 2018 (march 3rd). It was a great turn out with many of the regular members as well as a few new faces and cars too. If you’re interested in joining us just pop into BBB on Wodonga Place (Albury) every Saturday from 9.30am-12pm and say g’day to us.
A nice sunny Saturday morning in late April (21st) saw the EH & EJ clubs drop in for a coffee and chat. It was a good display of cars with the early holdens and the regulars creating a lot of interest from the public, with many stopping to have a look and get a few pics.
With only a week till summer our last coffee morning for spring saw the Wagga Rod and Custom Club join us at BBB on their way to Lake Hume for a Christmas party. A good turnout of cars with good coffee made for a great way to spend a Saturday morning. As midday approached the Wagga guys and gals departed for their destination and the Albury crew headed to Rutherglen. The Silver Key Cafe was the venue for lunch. Frank and Dawn Leahy had reopened the cafe a few weeks before, after it had been destroyed by fire. Only the building was new and the hospitality was as it had been for many years, which with the good food is why the Silver Key Cafe has been a popular stop for those passing thru Rutherglen, as well as the locals.
